So the scenario goes:
Friend A: Loses phone
Me: Lends friend A a phone to use until he gets a new one.
Friend A: Purchases a new phone.
Friend A's Sister: Decides without asking to use my phone as hers.
Me: I'm cool with it.
Few Months Later:
Friend A's Sister: Casually drops information on my phone and tells me that she lent it to her friends boyfriend for an emergancy.
Me: Is a little iffy about it but thinks as long as friend a's sisters knows of the phones whereabouts is i'm cool with it.
Fast forward to today:
Me: recieves a message from Friend A's Sister telling me the phone is lost.
Me: Very pissed even though the sister is willing to pay for it.
So thus far in this dilemma of mine, I have a few options. I can
A) Demand the money back
B) Reply to her telling her although i'm not happy with whats happened but i'm not angry at her
C) Go apeshit and tell her she has not got my trust ever again.
I'm leaning heavily toward B..... I mean i'm not happy but as a friend on here who I confided in with before told me that the phone is gone now I can't do anything about it which is true. All I can do now is learn from this and next time if lending something out to someone mention it's for their use only.
Then again that raises the question, do I start doing that with ALL my friends?
